The Current Standing of TWTWE!
Thanks for sticking with me. Alright so first thing is first:
THE COMIC
well my original plan was to just have one last HUGE update. the last 130 something pages just simultaneously uploaded to the site for the comic. Then school, life, and general laziness happened. Since I am so far from finishing, I will upload what I have done so far (book 2) on Wednesday of this week. Then this break make a huge ATTEMPT (say it with me now, attempt!) to finish the comic. I mean the entire comic. I am going to dedicate my vacation days to getting as much as I can done on the comic before the new semester. I'm hoping to just straight up finish it, but knowing me, that's probably not likely.
HOW FAR AM I?
Well I actually had some stuff done for A LOOONG time. First of all, I've had book 2 done since the summer, but like I never uploaded it cause I have been wanting to just upload it all at the same time. I have half of book 2 figured out. The latter half. I figured out how I want the book to end. now my problem is doing the first part and getting it there. Which if I am being honest, will be a major pain. Since I already have book 2 done (and have had it done for a loooooong time now) I will be uploading it on Wednesday.
THE GAME
Now most people are under the assumption that I am probably going to quit making the game, or it hasn't been started. THAT IS FALSE! (for once) The game is still in development however (and here me out here) I want to complete the comic first, so the game is on hold. The reason why the game is taking so long is cause of 1. what I said before (I want to finish the comic first) and 2. I had to redo it from the ground up. Back in the summer, my computer crashed, and I had to restart everything fresh. that means that I had to re-download a lot of software and lost a lot of data. INCLUDING THE GAME. I hate when this happens and it always makes me give up. You can tell I'm serious tho, because I have remade FROM SCRATCH most of the previous file. Now after I'm done with the comic, It wont take much to make a small SMALL demo for the game to give to the public to show that this is happening. currently, I've got most of the script figured out in my head and will work (future tense) on getting it onto paper. I also have the help of Allyson for writing the script, however, she will probably be to busy to help, so it will most likely be just me.
THE SITE
Wix was NEVER meant to host web comics. I just did what I usually do and got creative and worked on a budget, worked with what I had. However, I have learned that there are places where you can host your webcomic for free! (yeah I'm an idiot) I figured in order to make the comic easier to read, After I am done I will begin uploading the comic to a proper webcomic site. However, I am not getting rid of the original site. (however crappy it may be) because, believe it or not, I worked HARD on that! I made a site that was never meant for webcomics able to host a webcomic. So the comic will have 2 archives. If you want to have an easier time reading the comic, you should probably just check out the new site when I make it. So yeah. The comic will be on 2 websites now. One waaaaay better than the other.
CHROME THEMES
They took away the chrome theme maker!!! those heartless jerkssss!!! all salute in respect for my chrome theme (;^;)7 RIP ?????-2015. For those of you who don't know what I am crying about, My chrome theme was a chrome add on that let you make... well.... chrome themes. I used it to make a few themes based on my comics Exorcist and TWTWE. And A few friends (like 2) actually liked and used the themes. Listen, I always thought it would be kind of cool to have stuff based on my comics, like T-shirts, and cups, ect. ect. However, I just don't that kind of time or money. Heck, I consider it a small miracle when ever I even get money. (God bless my parents for being so generous.) so the closest I could get was making chrome themes. It genuinely felt nice to see (2) people using it and enjoying it. Then chrome theme maker was discontinued. which is a shame. However, I have discovered something that will make creating themes more fun. Its another theme maker AND its in beta, meaning its not going away anytime soon. Its life just started! Also there are extensions so that I can make themes for firefox and even (ugh) internet explorer! So this means getting Themes based off the comics are not just for chrome. They can now be made for all 3 major browsers. (sorry opera and safari.) so now unless you are using opera or safari, you can download and use my themes! yaaaay!
SO IN CONCLUSION!
Thank you for sticking it out with me. If you read this ENTIRE loooong update, you are awesome. TWTWE is coming back, and its coming back with a vengeance! As thanks for sticking it out with me this long, here is a unfinished animation I did 2-3 years ago.
